There will not be a football game airing on Thanksgiving night, breaking a long-tradition of having three NFL games on the holiday.
The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers were scheduled to play a game on Thursday evening (November 26), but the game has been postponed because the Ravens are dealing with multiple positive COVID-19 tests this week.
The game has been rescheduled for 1:15pm ET on Sunday (November 29) and it will air on NBC. “This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel and in consultation with medical experts,” the league said in a statement.
