Good Morning Britain suffers huge power cut as it ‘descends into chaos’ after Kate Garraway admits she’s ‘at her limit’

GOOD Morning Britain suffered a huge power cut today and "descended into chaos". Presenter Kate Garrway revealed the team made it on air "by the skin of our teeth" just after 6am today following the massive electrical failure in the ITV studios.

Speaking to viewers just after 6am, she added: "We are here by the skin of our teeth. We had a massive power cut at Good Morning Britain and it's been all sorts of drama. "They couldn't print off any stories, give us any briefs and they had no lights because the air conditioner went off and the server shut down. "The producer is in my ear laughing at me for being so technical." Her co-host Ben Shephard admitted it was "touch and go" as to whether the episode would run.
