Since the truth came out about Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) and discovery of Tina Carter's (Luisa Bradshaw) body, the walls have been closing in on Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith).

Wednesday 9 March's episode of EastEnders saw Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) finally see through Gray's lies. After standing by her beloved ex son-in-law and believing he could do no wrong, she eventually realised that Gray isn’t the innocent man she thought he was.

It appears the cold-hearted serial killer is being backed into a corner and – with the police more interested in Kheerat Panesar's (Jaz Deol) case – a vengeful Shirley (Linda Henry) takes matters into her own hands and launches a furious attack on her sister's murderer.
