Diego Maradona has passed away aged 60. The former World Cup winner is said to have suffered from cardiac arrest in hospital, where he was recovering from an operation on a blood clot.
Maradona is one of the most celebrated figures in football and most recently worked as manager of Argentine side Gimnasia de La Plata.
As a player, he famously inspired Argentina to the 1986 World Cup, where he helped beat England with his famous 'Hand of God'.
