DANCING on Ice star Jason Donovan has pulled out of tonight's show with back pain. The 52-year-old has been advised to rest, but vows to return next week once he's recovered.

Revealing he won't be compete tonight, Jason said: "I've had back pain the past couple of days and I'm under doctor's orders to take it easy and sit this week out. "I'm resting up.

I'll be watching from home and cheering everyone on and I look forward to returning next week." Jason's injury comes in the same week favourite Joe-Warren Plant was forced to quit the show.

The Emmerdale actor, 18, and his professional skating partner Vanessa Bauer got the “shock call” that they both had positive coronavirus test results after rehearsals on Thursday night.
