manchestereveningnews.co.ukCorrie fans in lockdown were delivered some much needed laughs during Friday night's episode. Viewers settling down to watch the soap at 7.30pm were stunned by a 'filthy' line delivered by Rula Lenska, who plays posh Claudia Colby.
Soap watchers did a double take, and watched again to make sure, after Claudia made a remark about her partner Ken Barlow. "He likes to slip in a couple of lengths in the afternoon," she told his friend Norris Cole, referring to Ken going swimming at their retirement complex.
But the line sounded saucy to many viewers who were roaring laughing. Karen and Allan Pullar were among those who had to rewind to watch again. "How did Norris keep a straight face after that revelation?" laughed Karen.
