Corrie star Jennie McAlpine has opened up about being trolled. Mum-of-two Jennie, a favourite on the famous cobbles since 2001, has been told she's 'fat' and 'can't act' online.

Jennie, 36, was also subjected to nasty comments after returning from maternity leave. The Bury actress, who plays machinist Fiz Stape in Coronation Street , feels so strongly about the subject she hopes social media becomes extinct by the time her children Albert, five, and 16-month-old Hilda have grown up.
