Christine McGuinness misses train to London for NTAs after sharing her anxiety over event

Christine McGuinness has missed her train to London, where she is set to appear at the National Television Awards tonight, after admitting her anxiety over attending the awards.

The 34 year old mum of three took to her Instagram stories to thank her followers for their "gorgeous comments" regarding her recent honesty in videos posted to stories about her trepidation about the NTAs, following her split from Paddy McGuinness after 11 years together.

She said: "I've just realised. I've been thinking of all the stressy, negative stuff, when actually I'm going to go and see people I haven't seen in ages and just have a good laugh. "So I was really happy and excited today and then I've missed my train to London," as she looked sheepish.

She continued: "I haven't really got any concept of time and this does happen a lot. I'm not great with trains anyway.The trains are really busy because there's been strikes on and because of the NTAs as well. "I don't know what I'm gonna do right now but I am going to find a way to get there.
