theplaylist.netFilmmakers will find a way. Pandemic, war, economic collapse? They’ll find a way. That’s why it’s no surprise that the Animated Short Film and Live Action Short Film Oscar categories considered 96 and 174 individual submissions respectively this year.
Unfortunately, only 10 make the shortlist cut for each category.
