Emergency services rushed to the scene of the crash on Lowton Road, in Lowton, at around 10.25pm last night. The girl was taken to hospital from the scene with serious injuries.
The driver of the car remained at the scene. They are assisting police with enquiries. A police cordon was in place on Lowton Road last night with officers at the scene.
