Brazilian great Rivaldo has tipped Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus to become a leader for Brazil at the upcoming Olympic Games, taking the position of Paris-Saint Germain superstar Neymar in the side.

Jesus travelled with the Olympic squad in 2016 for the games in Brazil and played a starring role alongside Neymar in the team.

The City forward netted in the penalty shoot-out final win against Germany to secure a gold medal. He could be selected in the squad next year despite passing the maximum age requirement as three players over the age of 23 are allowed to travel.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the games have been pushed back until 2021 and Rivaldo feels Jesus could make the difference in Tokyo as a leader of the squad.
