Bolton man set to be sentenced after admitting to string of drugs offences

Bolton Crown Court, Gary John Ernest Boote, 30, admitted to being concerned in the supply of cocaine; being concerned in the supply of cannabis; possession of cocaine with intent to supply; and simple possession of cannabis.

Boote, of Darwen Road, Bromley Cross, admitted to being concerned in the supply of cannabis for a 16-month period, between January 24 2019 and May 15 2020.

He was also concerned in the supply of cocaine between March 4 2020 and May 15 2020. The two possession charges both relate to offences on May 14 2020.Defence barrister Nicholas Ross told the court that Boote is a registered carer for his mother, who has terminal cancer.Judge Timothy Stead adjourned for sentencing on March 2.He released Boote on unconditional bail,.
