Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress.

The blood-soaked 26-year-old staggered to a waiting bus before the emergency services were called to the scene. The attack happened on Middleton Road in Chadderton shortly before 1am today (Thursday).
A police investigation is underway and the road remained closed at its junction with Bentley Street. Pictures show a cordon in place during the night and the police at the scene, with the bus the man is said to have staggered to still there.
