Asda's billionaire owners the Issa brothers buy healthy fast food chain Leon

Mohsin Issa and Zuber Issa, from Blackburn, began their business empire in 2001, when they bought a garage in Brandleshome Road - which still stands today.

Now 20 years on, the pair are worth more than £3bn, after making a record-breaking £6.8bn deal at the end of last year when they purchased Asda from US shopping giant Walmart.

In the latest deal the brothers’ petrol forecourt business EG Group has secured more than 70 Leon restaurants across the UK and Europe.
