31 Scottish hotels named in list of coronavirus safe stays in the UK

The Mercure Aberdeen Caledonian Hotel, The Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh, Macdonald Hotels Inchyra Hotel and Spa in Falkirk, and the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central were among the Scots hotels that made the grade.The newly-launched Safe to Trade scheme helps holiday makers identify which hotels, bars, restaurants and cinemas are ensuring the safety of staff and guests.The scheme is run by hospitality safety experts, including the former CEO of the Health and Safety Executive and Food Standards Agency and the ex-head of local delivery at Food Standards Agency.Mark Flanagan who chairs the Safe to Trade Scheme governance board stated they were delighted to reveal the list, he said:.
