Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Eilish began singing at a young age. She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Billie Eilish has performed her new song ‘The Greatest’ for the first time on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Check out footage of the rendition below.The moment took place last night (June 10) as the singer appeared as the musical guest on the US chat show for the second time to promote her latest studio album, ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’.Originally, she appeared on the show last month to perform a moving rendition of ‘Lunch’, and this time, she broke out the first ever live performance of the album’s centrepiece, ‘The Greatest’.She took to the live stage to perform the song alongside her brother and producer Finneas, who joined her in the dimly lit lighting and played acoustic guitar.

The soaring ballad saw her gradually pick up pace, as she sang the chorus line “Man, am I the greatest/ My congratulations/ All my love and patience/ All my admiration/ All the times I waited/ For you to want me naked/ Made it look painless/ Man, am I the greatest.”As it progressed and gained momentum, the lights began to flash and Finneas swapped to an electric guitar.Find footage of the performance below.The song featured on Billie Eilish’s latest album ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ which scored a four-star review from NME.In the review, Thomas Smith wrote: “‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ remains distinctly unique, a portrait of a singular talent entering young adulthood, exploring her queerness and experiencing the emotional thrill and (sometimes) catastrophe of chasing passion or falling in love.
