Police have made two arrests following reports of gunshots in Whalley Range. There are no reports of any injuries. A number of streets have been sealed off however, with forensic investigators and detectives at the scene.
Police were called to Highbury Road in Whalley Range at 4.10pm on Wednesday after reports of a firearms discharge. Greater Manchester Police said evidence of gunshots were later found at the scene.
It's understood part of Gildridge Road was also sealed off.
