Rock legend Charlie passed away today surrounded by his family in hospital at the age of 80, and the world has paid tribute to a man who made drumming an art.
Scots celebrities also shared their very special memories of the musician.Glasgow band Gun who supported the Rolling Stones on their 1990 Urban Jungle tour remembered how welcome Charlie had made them feel when they joined them on the road.
They wrote: " Hey Gunettes and Gunners, just heard the sad news about Charlie Watts."Gun were very lucky and fortunate enough to support The Stones 1990 urban jungle tour where we got to also hang out.
