A recent study puts Trafford at the top of the list of the brightest areas in the country. Research from Supplement Place looked at a number of education-related factors in all local authorities across England and ranked the areas by score.
Trafford scored an overall mark of 7.43 out of 10 - ranking it top of the list. The borough scored impressively on all fronts, with a higher rate of 16-18-year-olds going on to higher education than anywhere else in the country.
