Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus games for March and they include Ark: Survival Evolved, Ghost Of Tsushima: Legends and two more titles.In a blog post on the PlayStation site, the games were unveiled. SNK Global has denied reports of Metal Slug: Awakening coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, after a “fake” trailer was revealed.Fans of the Metal Slug series were excited when a Twitter account shared what looked like a gameplay trailer of a game based on the Metal Slug series. Star Wars Battlefront 3 is not currently in development at DICE according to a new report.Following the news that three new games in the Star War franchise are in development at Respawn Entertainment, a new report has suggested that publisher EA may be done with the Star Wars license once these games have been completed.According to VentureBeat’s Jeff Grubb; “But beyond the Bit Reactor game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s sequel, and the FPS project, EA is done with Star Wars.“He continued; “DICE, which is still putting out fires with Battlefield 2042, is focusing on the Battlefield franchise going forward. And EA is looking to once again emphasize its own properties.”Among the three games announced to be in development at Respawn is a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

IO Interactive has released the Year 2 patch for Hitman 3 which adds a new Elusive Target Arcade, PCVR support, and more.The Hitman 3 patch is available now on all platforms and is between 2GB and 3.5GB.The first new feature added to Hitman 3 is the Elusive Target Arcade, which allows players to take on the games Elusive Targets at any time.The patch notes say that “the three contracts will be permanently available via the Arcade, whether you succeed or not. If you succeed in all missions of a given Arcade Contract, you’ll be able to ‘reset’ the contract and immediately play from the start. Failure at any point is met with a 12-hour lockout.” To go with the new mode, a new weapon has been added.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax has little new to offer, the Japanese website for the Persona based fighting game has revealed a number of new additions.The remastered version of the Persona fighting game which features characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4 has received an update on its Japanese website. Call Of Duty’s official Twitter announced yesterday (December 22) that it permanently banned 48,000 accounts from Call Of Duty: Vanguard and Call Of Duty: Warzone for cheating in one day alone.In an attempt to tackle bots and other hackers in Call Of Duty’s latest games, large numbers of accounts are receiving bans since the launch of Ricochet. The tweet has a number of different responses, some praising the decision while others think changes should be implemented to prevent hackers instead of banning accounts after the fact.A number of players have replied in the thread they have been permanently banned for exploiting a glitch which allowed players to equip any camo in the game without meeting the requirements.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been revealed at The Game Awards.The game is currently being developed by Daedalic Entertainment and is set before The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The trailer shows Gollum stalking a group of Orcs in a dark cave while the former Hobbit talks to himself. Raven Software who developed Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call Of Duty: Warzone will fire more than a third of its QA testers.As reported by The Washington Post, the studio announced a restructuring of the quality assurance department, where contracted testers would either be promoted to full-time or laid off. The company began contacting those affected from December 3 and will continue until December 8.

Respawn Entertainment, the developer of first-person shooter Titanfall, has decided to remove the game from sale from today, December 1.It announced today on Twitter that the original Titanfall would be removed from sale on all online stores effective immediately. Currently, it is still available via subscription services but will also be removed from these from March 1, 2022.A note about Titanfall.

Salt and Sacrifice developers, Ska Studios, released a new dev diary that shows off Mage Hunts, a multi-stage style of boss fight new to the series.In the sequel to Ska Studios’ critically acclaimed 2D love letter to Dark Souls, there will be a new style of boss and method of boss fight. Bosses are now called mages, and instead of fighting them in one location, these Mage Hunts will take place over multiple parts.This means that when you complete one phase of the boss fight, the boss will flee and you must find them again to finish them off.

Doom developer, Id Software, has contacted musician Dustin Mitchell to reach an agreement over the trademark of ‘doomscroll’ for his progressive thrash metal band.According to an investigative report by Wired, after attempting to register the trademark ‘doomscroll’ as a “band name” and “entertainment property”, lawyers from the Doom developer sent Mitchell an e-mail on October 13. This was the deadline for others to challenge the attempted trademark.

Apex Legends Season 11 dropped a week ago today (November 2) and the new Gravity Cannons have been causing havoc for players.The new season of Apex Legends introduced its new map Storm Point, which is the largest yet for the series. The designer of the map, Rodney Reece, explained that the new map adds a lot more verticality for players to use in the battle royale title.One of the new set pieces which exploits the added verticality of the map is the new Gravity Cannons which launches legends at high speeds up and across the map when triggered.

Bugsnax is getting its first expansion in the form of Isle of Bigsnax, according to an announcement at Sony‘s State of Play event last night.Isle of Bigsnax adds a new biome along with plenty of new bugsnax to capture and feed to grumpuses. As the name of the expansion pack suggests, the bugsnax in question are supersized in nature so that also means that players get a new shrinking gun to reduce them.The expansion pack is set for release in early 2022 and will include a dozen new bugsnax, over 100 new challenges, 30 quests, and nearly 200 decorations to customise your hut with.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that Canadian studio, Jetpack Interactive, is working on the PC port of God of War.In a statement provided to Arstechnica, Sony explained that Jetpack Interactive is working on the PC version of God of War. It is also receiving supervision from the original creator, Sony Santa Monica, on the game.Jetpack Interactive is what is known as a port house and support studio.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water, has confirmed that the new release will include all original costumes and content, following concerns that the age rating has been downgraded in some regions.In an interview with JPGames, Shibata confirmed that despite the change to the age rating in Germany, no costumes or content has been removed or altered. Koei-Tecmo has no plans currently to release DLC separately for the remake of the fifth entry in the Fatal Frame series, but a digital art book and costumes from previous games will be available to purchase at the game’s release, October 28.He confirmed that all costumes which were previously sold as DLC for the Wii U version are included in the updated release.
