Stones missed the Manchester derby defeat for fitness reasons at the weekend, but the defender was not included in Guardiola's injury update on Tuesday so could feature against the Gunners.
Aymeric Laporte is also back in training, Guardiola confirmed, but given his injury problems this season he may not be risked so soon.
With City's priorities moving away from the Premier League, Guardiola has to also keep his full-backs fresh. That could mean a start for Benjamin Mendy after Aleks Zinchenko played the derby.
