STRICTLY Come Dancing star Katie McGlynn has been delighting viewers with her sultry tango and high-kicking jive - and when she doesn't have her dancing shoes on she is best known for roles in Hollyoaks and Coronation Street.

But before her Corrie days where she played Sinead Tinker, she starred in Waterloo Road as Jodi Allen. Katie’s character - better-known as Scout - lived with her mum and three-year-old brother Liam in a flat on a rundown estate, and provided for her family in any way she could, whether that be stealing food or working as a drugs runner.

But the Strictly star isn’t the only famous face to have come out of the BBC show that followed the dramatic lives of Rochdale school kids and their teachers and recently announced it’s.
