In September 2016, she began appearing as a panellist on Loose Women and in November of the same year she presented the I'm a Celebrity spin-off series I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp.
Stacey Solomon has expressed her concerns about her energy bills amid the country’s cost-of-living crisis. At the beginning of the year, it was revealed that the cost of living was rising at the fastest pace in 30 years leaving hundreds of people questioning if they could afford their bills.
Things haven’t changed much in the months that have followed and as winter approaches, people are particularly concerned about their energy bills increasing – Stacey, 32, included.
Despite having an estimated net worth of £4 million, the mum-of-four said she finds the ongoing cost-of-living crisis “terrifying” and expressed her worries about not being able to pay their bills. “If our energy bill doubles, then it might well be beyond our means in the future,” Stacey told The Guardian. “I’m not saying it is the same for us as someone on the breadline, ’cos it blooming well isn’t.
But it’s such a scary time.” She went on: “How have we allowed the country to get to this point? How can the government not be prepared for it?” Stacey and husband Joe Swash reside in a beautiful £1.2 million home in Essex – lovingly named Pickle Cottage.The pair tied the knot in their back garden over the summer.
