'Single Parents' Showrunner Loves Scenes With Leighton Meester & Adam Brody On The Show

Showrunner J.J. Philbin chatted with ET about the duo’s chemistry on the ABC show. “I love the weeks when Adam is on set,” she shared. “He and Leighton are the world’s cutest couple and when they’re together, the chemistry is off the charts, which I guess is no surprise, but still — it’s fun to watch!” J.J. also revealed that should there be another season, Adam‘s character Derek, who is the father of Angie’s, played by Leighton, son, Graham, would be a big part of it. “The way we ended season two, Derek is even more a part of Angie’s life (and even more of a thorn in Will’s side),” she shared.
