ok.co.ukCoronation Street took an eerie turn earlier this week as they appeared to predict the coronavirus outbreak in scenes filmed months before the pandemic.
The soap recently aired a scene between Geoff Metcalfe and Yasmeen Nazir, which saw Geoff make a snide comment to Yasmeen about washing her hands, in a scene which was written in December and filmed in January.
In the scene, Yasmeen returns to the kitchen after being forced by Geoff into cleaning the bathroom and is given harsh instructions to wash her hands.
Before sitting down to eat, abusive Geoff tells his wife: “Hey, wash your hands first you’ve just had your arm jammed up a u-bend.” As Yasmeen got some soap and rubbed her hands together under the tap, Geoff jibes: “You are singing.
