Officials are hoping to vaccinate at a rate of around 400,000 Scots per week by the end of February. But experts believe that vaccines will only reduce transmission of Covid-19 by around 60% as a best case scenario, the Sunday Telegraph reports.
If vaccinations are even able to cut transmission by 85% then the current lockdown restrictions could still remain in place until the end of May.
