Ryan Dorsey – the ex-husband of Naya Rivera – has made his first public statement since the tragic death of the popular Glee star.

Dorsey – who shared four-year-old son Josey with the late actress – took to social media over the weekend to share his grief.

Rivera accidentally drowned in Lake Piru in Ventura County, California on July 8 during a boating trip with her son. Authorities recovered her body five days later.

Dorsey posted a pic of Rivera and Josey, and he began his lengthy statement by writing: “This is so unfair…there’s not enough words to express the hole left in everyone’s hearts.
