Queen Elizabeth will be making a televised address just hours before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s big sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The televised address will take place of the normal Commonwealth Day service, which should be taking place on Monday, March 8 but has been cancelled due to the pandemic.
The BBC will instead be airing a Commonwealth Day special on Sunday, March 7 that will feature Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
The broadcast will include a pre-taped message from the Queen. The Queen’s address will come just hours before the Duke & Duchess of Sussex are supposed to give a tell all interview to Oprah.
