The Prince of Wales and his other half Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, are said to have had a "very emotional" first meeting with their granddaughter Lilibet during Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's UK visit.
Meghan, 40, and her husband Harry, 37, returned to London earlier this year to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. They also used the opportunity to introduce their baby daughter Lili, now one, to the Royal Family, while reacquainting their son Archie, three, with them, too.
Charles, 73, and Camilla, 74, were both said to be "absolutely thrilled" to see the whole family come over from across the pond for the momentous occasion.
According to Town & Country, a royal source said: “It was a fantastic visit and of course the Prince was delighted to see his grandson and meet his granddaughter for the first time,” when questioned on the subject by reporters during a briefing about Clarence House’s annual financial review.
