The Marlow Murder Club’s Samantha Bond - ‘I accepted the job in the nude’
She might be 62, but that didn’t stop Samantha Bond stripping off to play amateur detective Judith Potts in this adaptation of Robert Thorogood’s novel The Marlow Murder Club. Judith is retired and lives in the peaceful village of Marlow, but her life changes when she witnesses the murder of her neighbour while she is wild swimming au naturel in the River Thames. Samantha, famous for playing Moneypenny in four James Bond movies, loved filming the picturesque scenes, but added, “I don’t think wild swimming is for me.” Coincidentally, Samantha was also undressed when she heard she had won the role.
