Jack Buchanan: Star passed away age 66 due to 'rare' spinal cancer - condition explained

Despite the painful condition, Buchanan kept on performing, featuring in numerous dance numbers with Astaire and other Hollywood films such as Monte Carlo in 1930 and Goodnight Vienna in 1932. Unbeknown to him at the time, the actor's spinal troubles were far from over, as in his later life he developed cancer, and passed away in London.
