Paul O'Grady's husband has allegedly lost his battle with neighbours to turn an outbuilding at his farmhouse into a bigger space.
Andre Portasio is said to have applied for permission to extend the building and turn it into a house three times its size. He is understood to have inherited his and Paul's £3 million home in Kent following the TV favourite's sudden death last year.
Paul has previously been given approval for a groundkeeper's outbuilding, gym and dance studio on the estate. Following Paul's passing, Andre is said to have wanted to turn the outbuilding, referred to as a "security hut", into a separate two-bedroom house.
He allegedly applied to the local council for a "change of use" of the building - understood to have an office, kitchen and shower.
