Ozzy Osbourne

John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which he adopted the nickname "The Prince of Darkness".

Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug problems, but he went on to have a successful solo career, releasing eleven studio albums, the first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the United States. Osbourne has since reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions.

Ozzy Osbourne was “convinced” he was dying after undergoing gruelling spine surgery.The Black Sabbath rocker, 71, has endured the flu, had multiple hospitalizations, neck surgery, and has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in recent years, with the spine operation the latest in a string of health-related procedures.Speaking to SiriusXM, the star admitted it had been “such a slow recovery” that he was convinced he’d had it – and that his family knew all about it.“I’m not back to 100 per cent.

I’m about 75 per cent there,” he candidlyshared. “Spine surgery is bad news, man. I’ve been in such a bad state with pain; I’m still having a lot of pain.“There was a point I was convinced that I was dying.
