Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Nine-year-old boy tragically dies after being struck by lightning while playing football

The incident sparked a major emergency response after the child was hit by lightning during a heavy storm around 5pm tonight as several police vehicles and an air ambulance attended.Police confirmed the young boy had been rushed to hospital with "serious injuries" but sadly passed away a short time later.
Officers believe the boy, who has not been named, was hit by lightening at the pitches off School Road in Blackpool and enquiries are ongoing, LancsLive reports.
The boy's family have been informed and are being supported by officers.Det Supt Nick Connaughton of Lancashire Police said: "This is a truly devastating incident and our thoughts are wholeheartedly with the family and friends of the young boy, who has passed away,.
