Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp claims Manchester United head of youth development Nicky Butt told him Mason Greenwood is the "best young player he's ever seen" at the club.
Butt has been with United since 1992, making over 380 appearances for the Reds before returning to the club in a coaching role in 2012.
Following the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, he was promoted to the head of youth development to improve the transition of young players into the first-team squad.
