Meghan Markle lodged formal complaint against Piers Morgan before he quit

The latest information emerging from the Piers Morgan, Alex Beresford  ‘Meghan’ row is that the Duchess lodged a complaint with ITV before the veteran journalist sensationally quit Good Morning Britain.

Piers sparked an avalanche of complaints when he announced that he ‘didn’t believe a word’ of Meghan’s assertions that she had suffered from mental health concerns and even contemplated suicide at one point during her time as a royal.

When Piers was taken to task over his comments by Good Morning Britain weatherman Alex, Piers left the set in a temper live on air.
