When a clip of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s infamous tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey was played at the National Television Awards, it did not go down well with the audience, to say the least.
While Trevor McDonald introduced a clip that showed some of the biggest TV moments over the past 12 months, a snippet of Meghan and Harry’s explosive sit-down with Oprah was played and was instantly met with boos and jeers from the crowd.
Although the booing did not appear on the ITV live broadcast, attendees revealed to MailOnline that the audience ‘loudly’ booed once the Sussexes appeared on-screen.
