Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Marcus Rashford has topped the Sunday Times Giving List in a record-breaking year for donations. The Manchester United striker, 23, is the youngest person to head the chart after raising £20 million in donations for groups tackling child food poverty in the UK.
The Giving List ranks philanthropists by setting the charitable sums given or raised against their net worth in the Sunday Times Rich List.
Rashford, who has a personal wealth of £16m, raised the equivalent of 125 per cent of his net worth for charity over the last year.
The Manchester-born star drew on his own experience of childhood poverty to raise money for food charities during the pandemic.
