It should come as little surprise that Manchester United are being touted for centre-back transfers. They are being linked with dozens of players, as they always are, with the current break from football due to coronavirus prompting increased numbers of spurious transfer rumours in the press.
Quite frankly, there is little else to talk about. Juventus' Matthijs de Ligt and Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly are the more recent high-profile names to be mentioned, though MEN Sport understands a centre-back is not United's priority in the upcoming summer window.
Besides, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer currently has seven senior centre-backs (including those out on loan) to choose from next season.
