Iain Stirling has slammed reality TV, calling it "a waste of time", despite him and wife Laura Whitmore earning millions thanks to Love Island. The 33 year old has narrated the hit ITV2 dating show since its inception in 2015, with his wife taking over as host in 2020 after Caroline Flack stepped down just months before her tragic death.
But he has now admitted that he would rather hear mundane details of his friends' lives than watch the lives of others on TV.
He told Daily Star: "I get it, but I don't agree with it. I hate the idea that if you've got this nice thing, you need this s**t thing to go along with it.
