Love Island fans left concerned for Gemma and Ekin-Su after spotting worrying skin marks
ok.co.ukLove Island fans were left concerned for Gemma Owen and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu during the final episode of the series, after they were seen with “matching skin marks”.
Ekin-Su and Davide Sanclimenti were announced the winners of the ITV2 series on Monday night, with Gemma and Luca Bish coming in as runners-up.
Close friends Gemma, 19, and Ekin-Su, 27, were featured earlier on in the last episode sporting what appeared to be similar patchy marks on their shoulders.
Fans took to Twitter, immediately worried about the marks, as one person wrote: “What are the marks on Ekin Su & Gemma’s shoulders? #Loveisland." A second said: "Ekin and Gemma both have skin patches that look like burns that look a bit dodgy #loveisland." Another added: “Why do Gemma and Ekin have burn marks in the same place on their shoulders?! #loveisland." While the contestants gave no reason for their matching marks, it seems most likely that their skin had peeled off in the hot sun of Mallorca, where they were staying at in the villa.
