Kylie Jenner‘s company Kylie Cosmetics is taking part in the #PullUpOrShutUp initiative, kickstarted by Sharon Chuter, who is the black female founder of Uoma Beauty.
The initiative challenges brands to share the number of black employees they employ at their companies. In a post on Instagram, Kylie Cosmetics revealed that 13 percent of employees are black, 47 percent of the team are BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color), 53 percent of the team are white and 100 percent of the team identify as women.
Some in the comments of Kylie‘s post have pointed out that the breakdown does not add up to 100, but they explained, “47% of our staff identify as BIPOC.
