Jim Goodwin couldn’t have been happier with his debutants after they strolled their opening game against Dunfermline last week.

Striker Curtis Main got off the mark with a header which turned out to be the winner, while defenders Charles Dunne and Scott Tanser picked up a clean sheet.

Former Killie midfield duo Greg Kiltie and Alan Power also impressed in the middle of the park, with all five expected to be back in action tomorrow night when St Mirren take on Stenhousemuir.

Goodwin feels all five of his summer recruits made an immediate impression on the watching Buddies, and he believes they all have a bright future in the stripes this season.
