James 'Arg' Argent has addressed rumours of a Love Island bombshell entrance following his friend Joey Essex's shock arrival in the villa.

It comes after the former The Only Way Is Essex star, 36, said he was heading to Majorca. While appearing on Monday's (10 June) Good Morning Britain, Arg showed off his slim figure following his impressive 14st weight loss, and spoke about Joey's Love Island stint.

Arg explained to hosts Susanna Reid, 53, and Ed Balls, 57, how his TOWIE pal was looking for a "deep and meaningful" connection.

He said: "You compare it to the real world and celebrities want to find love, sometimes they don't want to find love with other celebrities, they want to find it with real people." Arg continued: "I don't think Joey necessarily finds it hard to find a woman, like myself, there's a time when you want to find something deep and meaningful. "I feel like in the villa he'll have potentially the opportunity to find someone." Addressing Joey's various other reality TV show stints, such as Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity Ex on the Beach, Arg added: "He has done a lot of other reality dating shows so he may as well go on this one.
