United, alongside Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City, have reportedly signed up for the proposed league, alongside the likes of Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
There has been no backing from clubs within Germany's Bundesliga or France's Ligue 1, while UEFA has issued a strong statement against the proposals.
