Coastguard rescue teams raced to the scene and saved the pair around 2.30pm.Both kayakers were checked out by paramedics before being allowed to go home.A coastguard rescue helicopter from Inverness also attended the incident alongside the Moray Inshore Rescue Organisation boat and Burghead and Nairn rescue teams.Following the dramatic incident, HM Coastguard Moray issued key advice to anyone going out in the area.In a statement they said: "As the weather improves, we are happy to see more more people out enjoying our coast.
