Dancing On Ice star Kye Whyte has hit back at ‘fix’ claims hit by the show ahead of the semi-final. Last week, the athlete was hit with claims from some viewers that the show was a "fix" due to being saved from elimination for the fourth time. The star was in the bottom two alongside Stef Reid, but was saved by all four judges, following the week before where he was in the bottom two with Corrie actress Sally Dynevor before she was eliminated.
But the BMX Olympic silver medallist, 22, says: “All I can do is just skate to the best of my ability and it’s in the judges’ hands and in the public’s hands. “But when it comes to the skate-off, the person who stays is down to the judges and I’ve been the one they picked.
So I’m grateful for that.” Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter Now in the semi-final, Kye is the only celebrity from a sporting background compared to the other celebrities left in the competition, who all come from the world of showbiz.
