The barmaid - played by I'm A Celebrity star Beverley Callard - was due to have the explosive exit earlier this year when she was due to bow out of the soap after 30 years.
However the pandemic meant she was unable to film her final exit - and Beverley then sadly suffered a botched hip operation putting her out of action when filming resumed.
So bosses were forced to rewrite her dramatic exit which would have seen her team up with armed robber Scott Emberton to raise money for grandson Oliver's treatment and legal battle.
