Police have urged people to use common sense after hoards of people flocked to beaches on the warm Bank Holiday Monday and others headed to the countryside for walks.
Officers were called to a lido in London and beach goers have been warned not to overcrowd seafronts as people in England sought to make the most of the warm weather.
Metropolitan Police officers were called to Ruislip Lido in north London to reports of a large group gathering there yesterday.
