Brave Christine McGuinness has disclosed shocking details about her childhood, revealing how her formative years were marred by abuse, rape, anorexia, bullying and poverty.

Mum-of-three Christine - who is married to Top Gear host Paddy - has spoken for the first time about her struggles in her new book, A Beautiful Nightmare, The Mirror reports.

But having found happiness with Paddy and their children she now says: “Nothing could knock me back down.” The model and TV star, 33, says she has haunting visions of her past but only those closest to her are aware of her harrowing upbringing.
